Supporting the Local Community: Jude's Triathalon

Our Managing Director pushes his limits across land, sea and mountains to support The Albion Foundation

We’re proud to share that our Managing Director, Jude Thompson, is taking on a triathlon style fundraising challenge this year in support of The Albion Foundation.

Rather than a traditional triathlon, Jude’s challenge is made up of three unique endurance events, each bringing its own set of demands.

The first challenge is a 175-mile “Baggies Bike Ride” from Ipswich Town Football Club to The Hawthorns – a significant test of endurance and determination. He will then swap the road for the water, kayaking across the English Channel, taking on unpredictable conditions and a completely different physical challenge. The final stage will see Jude travel to the Himalayas for the Dalai Lama Trek, walking between 15 and 20 kilometres per day at altitude.

Together, these three challenges form a true test of resilience, preparation and commitment.

Jude is taking on this challenge to support The Albion Foundation, an organisation that delivers life-changing work across the community. From supporting young people to promoting inclusion and wellbeing, the Foundation plays a vital role in making a positive difference to people’s lives.

This effort reflects not only Jude’s personal determination, but also the values we hold as a business by supporting our communities, embracing challenges, and striving to make a meaningful impact.

We’ll be sharing updates throughout Jude’s journey as he progresses through each stage of the challenge.
